Meet the creator
I love making and sharing content on different platforms. I specialize in creating videos about technology that improves our day-to-day lives especially for the 50+ market.
I raised six kids and have worked in tech since the early 1990s, still do. I’m savvy in software, hardware, smart home and love exploring, learning about and teaching others about new devices.
At 52 years old I bought my first house. I work full-time remote and value great accessories, devices and apps that improve my work life as a remote employee.
As a nearly 60 year old full-time caretaker of my soon to be 80 year old mom I can provide a unique perspective on having raised and launched a houseful of kids and caring for an aging parent as I near retirement myself.
Unlike professional writers or editors, User Generated Content (UGC) is created by users. When you don't have the time or budget to hire someone to create your content, this can be a great way to promote your product or service in an authentic way.

In 2023 and beyond there is a growing demand for user-generated content (UGC) from creators aged 55 and older. The rising importance of UGC in marketing strategies reflects this trend. Here are some key points regarding the demand for UGC and the role of older creators:
Consumers increasingly view UGC as the most trustworthy form of content. This trend underscores the value of authentic experiences and perspectives, which creators aged 55+ can uniquely provide
There's a significant consumer engagement with UGC. User-generated photos, for instance, are five times more likely to convert customers than other types of content. This effectiveness of UGC in marketing is driving brands to incorporate it more into their strategies
The creator economy is expanding, with UGC becoming much more valuable. Marketers are adjusting to deliver content through different mediums, recognizing the impact and reach of diverse content creators, including those aged 55 and older
UGC can take many forms, such as reviews, videos, testimonials, and social posts. This diversity allows creators of all ages, including those over 55, to contribute in ways that best suit their skills and experiences
Influence on Purchasing Decisions
A significant percentage of consumers make buying decisions based on social media, where UGC plays a crucial role. Older creators can influence these decisions by providing authentic and relatable content
Many brands are moving their marketing focus from traditional advertising to more authentic and engaging UGC. This shift opens opportunities for creators of all ages, including those 55 and older, to contribute content that resonates with a wider audience
